Some times ,people would like to know, “What are the hottest cell phones on the market today?”
Selling more than one million units globally in just eight weeks, the LG Chocolate has become a worldwide phenomenon. Having already enjoying significant sales success in South Korea (and winning two global design awards for its innovative design), the decision was made to introduce the phone in other international markets including the U.S. Not since the Motorola RAZR has there been a handheld that garnered so much attention and anticipation
Officially debuted in London, the Chocolate continued its tour to China, Russia, Mexico, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Turkey, Iran and U.A.E., sparking a buzz among trendsetters and socialites in every fashion capital. Whether it whets the palates of the North American market is yet to be seen. But if past sales trends are any indication of future forecasts, the Chocolate may just be the phone of 2006.
I got my chocolate about a week ago and I like mine a lot, mostly because of the all-in one features and free things you can do with it. I like the slider part since it protects the camera and there is no antenna sticking out of it when i put in my pocket. Navigation is mastered in a day or two if you have had any LG phone before.
If you are heavy into playing music then don’t bother since you will more than likely drain the battery playing music and then not have a phone later in the day. For myself ,I’m one lover, and download a lot of music from web, some time, I also ripped some favourite music from CD, there ‘s one ImTOO Audio Maker worth to mention which can convert and rip audio CD(music CD) to MP3, WAV, WMA. Otherwise, Standard Mode and Advanced Mode are provided for beginner and experienced respectively. Just a few clicks to handle the processes such as MP3 to CD converting, audio CD ripping and music CD burning at high speed! That’s a pretty good choice.
You can bypass all the verizon nickel and dime stuff like ringtones and wallpaper costing $1-$3 per item. I bought the music essentials kit mostly for the headphones that fit the phone. I quickly found out that you can use the usb cable to upload ringtones and wallpapers to your phone for free.
Overall I would give it a 9 of 10. The chocolate may not have the best of any one thing mp3 player, camera or options (no speakerphone?) but it does them all better in combo than any other phone I have looked at. It works for everything that I need and I love the look.
